Taylor Mt. Regional Park trail work in September 2014 Wed Sep 3rd & Sat Sep 27

The Sonoma County Trails Council is working with Sonoma County Regional Parks to help build new trails at Taylor Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve.

We will have two work days in September.

We’ll work from 9am to 1pm on

Wednesday, September 3

and

Saturday, September 27 – National Public Lands Day
which will be extra special with a drawing for a new Trek mt. bike at
the end of our work day.

You can become eligible to win it by sponsoring Trails for Taylor –

Wear sturdy shoes or boots, a long sleeve shirt and pants and sunscreen.
Bring a hat, gloves and water. We will have Clif bars, tools and
beverages afterwards.

Meet us at 9am at what will soon be the new Taylor Mountain Petaluma Hill Road trailhead and parking area, south of Yolanda Avenue (just past the Wheeler-Zamaroni Quarry).

Be careful turning into the parking area, there is a small unmarked
driveway and ranch gate that will be marked with two orange cones.

In order to make sure we have enough tools and beverages please reply to kenwells@sonic.net if you plan to attend.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
